I haven’t kept up this blog, and I had such high hopes… Maybe it’ll get better.

Anyway, here we are in July and the summer is a much cooler one that expected. Local people have been taking out their winter bed clothes again, thinking it quite cold at nights. I personally think it’s just right.

Today is the coolest day we’ve had since May. It’s about 25 Celsius, which is hot by Shetland standards, but not by Spanish ones. Normally at this time it would be in the 30s.

But the weather here is a lot better than what the UK is getting. It’s raining there - heavily. In fact, much of the world is having weird weather this summer, or winter as it is in the southern hemisphere.
